Port Fonty Days:
These are usually Sundays, when a few members get together at the boat house and have an outing on the river, returning for a picnic lunch. The Society boats are used and those of members who are there. It is a good opportunity for members without boats to come along and join a crew – if you are not very experienced there will always be someone to coach you. You need to inform Jolyon (jolyon@ttbs.org) if you intend to come along as getting crews organised is essential for a reasonable departure time!
Port Fonty Wednesday evenings:
Every Wednesday evening we try to assemble some folk for an evening row. As a regular Society event, the Society boats are available to be used. If you are interested in joining in, please contact Iain Symon (Vice Captain). The normal plan is to meet at PF by 18:00 (or earlier to prep. boats) with an optional trip to the Crown afterwards for those inclined. PLEASE let Iain know if you wish to be included. Experience is optional, training/coaching will be provided. Please feel free to bring friends, family, guests and other non-members of the Society, but please confirm attendance in advance.
