The Society publishes its Journal three times a year, supplemented by news bulletins. The Journal content comprises information from the Committee, articles contributed by members and advertisements for boats and boat building, maintenance and repair services.

An account of a skiff which is at least 127 years old and has been in the same family for four generations. Now berthed in Cheshire it has new waterways to try out.
The 'End of Season Row' was a good day out on the Thames made very special by our friends at the Thames Wherry Trust.
Yet again a member persuades old colleagues to join him in a sponsored row. Supported by friends along the way they have raised an amazing amount in aid of the 'Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy'.
A plan for a weekend Winter Walk in February to explore further on foot one of our favourite canals, the Kennet and Avon.

Spring Cruise for 2010 will be on the Thames starting at Lechlade.
A party is being planned in June to celebrate 30 years of the TTBS.
The Summer Cruise will be on the Lancaster canal with quite short distances to achieve so as to enjoy the surrounding countryside and places of interest in the area. Then the boats will be trailed to the Lake District for a few days where those who like to hoist their sails should be happy.

Henry VIII Rides Again - an account of the Tudor Pageant on the Thames from the Tower of London to Hampton Court. This was organised by the Historic Palaces and Thames Alive to celebrate the 500th anniversary of Henry's Coronation. Many members took part in the latter half of the procession in Sgian Dubh or their own boats.
The Thames Traditional Boat Rally at Henley - the society had a larger tent than usual which was a great advantage and there were several outings on the river to entertain the visitors.
An account of the trip to Poland undertaken by some of our members and sister society in Holland. Thirty-five people and ten craft had a long journey but a super trip on the Elblag-Ostrada canal.

The May Day cruise - an account of our day trip on the Upper Thames
A tale from the Captain's wife who was one of a team of florists who won a gold medal at Chelsea this year, it did include a water feature!
Spring Cruise on the Kennet and Avon canal - this delighful trip ended with a couple of hours punting at Bath.
